Give In to the Dark Side of Belgian Beer

Posted Posted in Beer

Generally, when wine lovers are beginning their foray into the world of great beer, they start with the brews of a country known for its rich beer heritage and reputation for outstanding quality, such as Belgium. The most popular introduction into Belgian-style beers is witbiers, also known as white or wheat beers.

Seattle Sounders Fans Are Hopping Mad At Beer

The weekend went by, we brewed the beer, and the following week the MLS asked us to change the branding. We immediately called the label company to luckily find out that they had not printed the labels yet for the cans. At this point we basically had to get the replacement labels ordered ASAP in order to get them shipped in time, as we had promised a lot of people that another round of Deuce Juice would drop on the 29th, and we wanted to still meet that obligation even if with a different name.

The consumer decision journey in the increasingly complex search retail marketplace

In the retail space today, it’s no longer business as usual. Retail is in a constant state of flux as more and more brands announce store closings; we’ve experienced a staggering 97 percent increase in store closures year over year, according to the National Real Estate Investor. But it’s not all doom and gloom. E-commerce sales are growing — in fact, according to Business Insider, “Though the US retail average growth rate in the first half of 2016 was just 2 percent for total retail, it was 16 percent for e-commerce.” Digital transformation is taking over the retail space as retailers scramble to adapt, survive and thrive.

Breweries around San Fran / San Jose Area

In the immediate area, Fieldwork and Cellarmaker would be quality choices. But, if you can make the drive, SARA is the best brewery I’ve been too. Not just in terms of beer but the atmosphere too. It’s a great place and they’d likely have a couple bottles for you to take home. For my taste, saisons are what they do best, but their stouts and IPAs are also excellent.

What do kids around the world leave for Santa?

Posted Posted in Beer

In the United States, Santa is known for his penchant for cookies, so children across the country leave him cookies by the baker’s dozen along with a nice glass of milk to wash it down. This ritual of leaving out cookies and milk for Santa (and sometimes carrots for his reindeer,) has become a tradition in the U.S., but it’s not the standard worldwide.
